The Banjaara song’s violin has same scale as “Toss the Feathers” by the group The Corrs. The instrumental song was in their 1995 album “Forgiven, Not Forgotten”. Thanks to Ritz for this info.
Here is the song Banjaara for comparison.

Great song.Just heard it and the violin is same! ritz – great info
I would rather listen to the original song while watching the ett banjara video 😀
similar does not equal copy..banjaara is similar but no way can u say its copied..teri meri can be said copied coz its almost 80-90% same…this one is maybe 20 -30 % similar
and irish music has tht traditional theme always and are similar
You are right that Irish music has a traditional theme but that similar thing applies more to the video you posted.
Toss the Feathers is actually a Irish folk tune and that same tune is almost there through out the song. Even Teri Meri was based on a Romanian folk tune.
Technically it is ok to use these folk tunes but the music directors should credit that it is based on folk tune.
sputnik – if its the folk tune that ETT has used,i guess its fine. sneha khanwalkar has used lot of folk music in GOW.
I told you it is Irish folk music but you made me post this 😉
I removed Pritam from the tags. Since Pritam is usually the culprit with the copying stuff I automatically added his name 😉
rofl! wtf ..bichaara pritam, how badly that guy is stereotyped 🙁
why have you tagged pritam in this post sputnik? what does he have to do with this song?
Toss the feathers is one of my favorites and I recognized the tune immediately when I heard ‘Banjaara”. But the song definitely comes nowhere even near to the original.
