Ek Tha Tiger Has Solid Second Weekend

Ek Tha Tiger had a solid second weekend with collections likely to come in at around 19-20 crore nett. Friday was around 4.50 crore nett and Saturday was 6.25 crore nett and Sunday should come in at around 8.50-9 crore nett.

The film has grossed around 163 crore nett after its second weekend which is phenomenal and considering the huge first week, the second weeknd collections are also very good. Only Three Idiots, Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore have collected more in their respective second weekend’s. Films like Ready, Housefull 2 and Golmaal 3 all collected in the same range as Ek Tha Tiger but these films were not coming off a huge extended first week.

If we compare with Bodyguard which was releases in the same period last year that film grossed 14.25 crore nett over its second weekend. Ek Tha Tigershould do around 30 crore nett over its second week.

      Taran tweeted higher figures

“#EkThaTiger 12-day total of *approx* Rs 175 cr nett is from India alone. Overseas total is *not* included. ”

      but this is from BollywoodHungama.

Taran tweeted that “#EkThaTiger maintained very well in its second weekend, witnessing a big jump on Sunday. Collected *approx* 21 cr nett in Wknd 2. ”

Taking Taran’s figures and adding them 147.60+21= 168.60 but how did it become 175?

        My bad I was wrong.

Piyush said on FB that “From Wednesday to Wednesday (8 days) by Taran is 147.6Cr. The Thursday collections are not included (which he quoted as 6.5 I think) + 3 days of Fri Sat Sun 21= 175”

So according to Taran’s collections the numbers add up.
