Katrina is expressionless (not surprising) and strangely cold (surprising). It is like she is interrupting the good action scenes and not the other way round.

Agree abt Kat but many action scenes are comic book stuff..

I have always liked Katrina..not for her acting but for other reasons 🙂

But, this is the first song I think she does not look hot or desirable at all..bad costumes, bad unimaginative choreography…And the rehash of the dhoom song is sounding rotten.

As bad as it can be..

      Agree.

Bad song, horrible choreography and bad costumes. Katrina does not look hot even with skimpy costumes. Her face looks bad in some scenes.

  7. narad_muni 6 years ago

Just contrast this with Hrithik’s epic dance in Dhoom 2 title song.

Only good thing about this song is they din;t bring Tingu into this, otherwise it wud hv been even worse 😀

THAT IS WHY WE NEED ‘ JAI HO ‘ AND SALMAN.

THE MUSIC HAS BEEN TERRIBLE THIS YEAR AND SALMAN IS OUR SAVIOUR !! JUST WAITING FOR THE TITLE TRACK AND HEARD ITS JUST OUT OF THE WORLD. IT LEAVES SURELEE ANKHIYON WAALE AND TERE MAST NAIN FAR FAR BEHIND !!!

Worst of all the ´ dhoom machale´ song. The only saving grace is, this song is a homage to the little Master.

Aamir had said long back (and manier times as usual) in his interviews that when he goes by popular demand (what public wants) he failed and when he got by his gut feeling/choice he succeeded. Dhoom3 doesnt look at all a movie which I should be watching even once.

Watched Talaash again – and Aamir should stick to his choices like that – such an moody and enigmatic movie !! (Cinematography is world class but it went as underrated last year as ppl think Cinematography means something spectacular only). The movies like Talaash, Sarfarosh, JJWS,RDB etc etc make what Aamir is today. Choice of Dhoom3 is only for getting the records – even Ghajini was far exciting and had good plot.

For once I agree with you, bang ON 😀

Yes, Talaash had superb cinematography…the first half was superb, enigmatic. But it couldn;t live up to it in the 2nd half. Still a good effort overall.

This is for the people who think this is worst song of Dhoom series.

The choreography was slightly better here than D3 , but then I had already mentioned (infact made a post out of it when Aamir was not even in picture). Look how cold is the dancer and how “staged” is the dance. I had written a post if Urmila was there there would have been a spark witch matches the lyrics !!

    Now see this D2 song:

Perfect girly dance by Hrithik. I got appalled by it (he should reduce his “kamar” movements – looks so feminine in the dance) :

    Now coming back to D3:

    Is Aamir dancing? No.
Second point: The choreography abt Katrina – I dont think choreography is very bad as much as Dhoom1 song. THe first song was spineless.
Yes Hrithik is good – he is too girlish IMO in D2.

So all in all, this I think is in line with what one can expect with D3. (earlier two were pathetic as well)

Yes Esha is cold in that song but the choreography is better than in the latest one. Its wrong to even bring up Urmila while talking about Esha/Katrina’s dancing. Urmila is an excellent dancer but I don’t like the picturization/choreography of Chamma Chamma that much. Its very cliched.

Katrina is tall and she is wearing high heels and is dressed in skimpy costumes. And may be its the low camera angles too but its not looking good. Look around 50 seconds and the choreography is bad and you can almost feel Katrina is doing 1 2 3 4. Katrina’s appeal has always been her pretty face and giving an innocent smile or a cute laugh. She is trying hard to be sexy but she cannot.

As for the Dhoom 2 song I think Hrithik was excellent. I don’t think he was feminine in that except for a few bits. Check this Bumbro song from Mission Kashmir. I find Hrithik’s dance very feminine in it.

And now watch the below if you did not understand what I meant about Dhoom1 being soul-less.

  19. Anjanpur685Miles 6 years ago

@Agree that Hrithik was very very feminine in the Mission Kashmir song.
Yes, Katrina looks like overgrown female species amongst males. (forget Aamir – even with other Indian males).
