Cocktail did well on its eighth day as it collected 2.75 crore nett approx. The drop is 75% from day one but that has become par for the course nowadays. the film will pick up on Saturday and Sunday and could do a weekend in the 12 crore nett range which is good.
The film held up strongly in North India as Delhi/UP collected 80 lakhs plus and east Punjab 30 lakhs plus and these collections are pretty similar to its Thursday numbers.
The CP berar, CI, Rajasthan, Nizam area did show a 25-30% fall from Thursday but multiplex areas were similar or a bit lower than Thursday.
