Impressive Trailer and excellent dialogue delivery by Saif and one more thing Vidyut Jamwal not having a single dialogue but looks great in action scenes aur Sonakshi Sinha looks as usual in all her movies.

bakwas dated crap about some lawless land. (this director has this Gun fetish in all his films)

  4. Saurabh 11 years ago

Looks to be set in the same universe as Zilla Ghazibad. Tigmanshu has this lawlessness infused in all of his scripts which appeals to the public.
The lawless land thing replete with 80s dialogue has been milked dry. Saif has done this kind of role many times. Would have been interesting and refreshing to see another actor in the role.

BTW, this was shot 2 months ago near my house in Nashik. They could have at least based the story in Nashik itself for a change instead of a stereotypical UP town.

Supporting players look interesting though. Here’s hoping Jimmy and Ravi Kissan steal the show.

Did not like the trailer. Looks very wannabe and done to death.

Looks like Saif will be the star/hero of this one mouthing one liners and masala dialogues but none of them were any good.

Dont mind this trailer but this looks more lighthearted than Dhulia’s last 2-3 films – probably due to silly 80-ish dialogues. Saif is not aging well – looks bloated.

Frankly, a bit disappointed with this.

dhulia attempting his GOW after playing villian in it.saif ali khan is pathetic trying to be a wannabe masala villanic character.some of the characters look gimmicky like chynkey pandey. seems this may not be worth a watch for even vidyut

Awesome star cast! If properly made this can create havoc. Saif is looking awesome and seems to be in his Langda Tyaagi mode. Good to see Vidyut jamwal in a big budget movie, same for Jimmy Shergil. Having huge expectations from this one hope it does well for Saif !

faadu trailer!!!! vl rock at the box office for sure.. saif looks perfect and a tailor made role for him.. wud luv to c how vidyut performs in this movie.. same gooes to jimmy too… ravi looks in an interesting role… sonakshi is a big yawn.. bad man gulshan grover all set to make a grand comeback in a villainous role..

if music is hit, then there is no stopping fr it..!!!!

hope for this one to be saif’s first 100 cr grosser..

Haven’t seen the trailer, yet…although I won’t count Tigmanshu out so easily…He normally comes up with good movies..Although I don’t understand why would anyone take Saif in a rustic/heartland guy role…Yes , Yes I know people went gaga about his Omkara performance– i didn’t..I thought it was the weakesh performance in the entire cast. People who think he nailed that part don’t know how people from Meerut or Muzaffarnagar talk..He wasn’t bad- just not good.

These filmmakers have this obsession with making a miscast perform- and they often fail with it…Remember Matru Ki Bijli ka Mandola or OUATIMD (both Imraan Khan)

@Sup – But Dhulia seems to b venturing out in creating commercial stuff here – not sure if that is one of his plus points. We will see.
On Saif, i tend to agree. I liked him best in DCH and EHT. – both suave/urbane roles.

    CilemaSnob tweeted this

“The film had some arty elements. But we all felt it was slowing down the film, so we edited it out – Saif on Dhulia’s Bullett Raja”

  13. Saurabh 11 years ago

Is Saif producing this one? If yes, then we’re in for another Agent Vinod.

Liked the trailer.. ND hv huge respect for dhulia. Every movie he made nd i sas Ws better than average.. Haasil nd pst were very good movies. Actors look good, bm is good nd i think music will be good, can create a Salman Khan movies type environment….
one thing is for sure, it will create a style statement type of craze in small town.. Nd dialogues will become a kind of regular on youth’s mouth in small town. Anyway will see on lapy, coz movie is on the regular line…

PST was bad ??? But agree abt the wannabe Dabangg attempt here by Dhulia, strangely Dhulia is the last director i wud expect to go this way. If he is just after some box office numbers, he shud hv gone to Salman with this. I doubt if Saif is going to give him big collections.

@bored if u r asking me then u misunderstood me, i loved pst. I wished irfaan for national nd he got fortunately.

Loved the promo .. infact this is best trailer among all masala promos out in recent time.

  18. Reddemon 11 years ago

    Agree with yakuza.

Dhulia is an all-rounder unlike some ‘great directors’ who only stick to making feel good movies.

  19. Bored 11 years ago

Unfortunately Dhulia has never made any feel good movie before this. PST, SBUG series are hardly feel good movies. For the kind of offbeat movies he makes, an average run at the theaters is enuf for everyone to be happy.

But when he attempts a wannabe Dabangg, then average BO run is hardly sufficient. Also lowbrow masala genre needs to be done really well (at least at Dabangg level) for critics to take it seriously or be satisfied – such is the genre!

If Dhulia can get a BO hit here, i will agree with the all-rounder tag. Till then its just wishful thinking.

Tigmanshu Dhulia on the film that changed his life – Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid He mentions the heroine’s name as Katherine Hepburn instead of Katharine Ross though 🙂
