Just back from ek tha tiger.I have find new found respect for New york after watching it. Not that ett is unwatchable,but you should not try to find sense in anything in it.The Raw Vs ISI angle is a joke.Salman looked overweight in his opening intro scene.I was first reasonably impressed with the action in the opening bits.Salman was surprisingly looking agile with perfect Body dynamics. and i was quite amazed till my friend (who is an animation expert) pointed out that his face was morphed on a stunt double’s body! I looked closely and he was right 🙁 there is one backflip scene where you can almost see the morphing of the face..There are lot of action scenes with salmans “back” on the camera for obvious reasons.
Watch 0.23-0.24 closely in this video (when salman takes the back flip,watch his morphed head and the body) .This is just one of the instances.there are quite a few when you watch it on big screen.It is more clearer there.
Katrina has a better role than salman,also acts better.,also has better stunts but unfortunately like salman,even she has used body doubles for most scenes.Some parkour scenes are good.First half is really slow,quite boring i would say,Second half picks up.There is a long chase sequence which i enjoyed inspite of the obvious body double usage.There are some twists in the film but you would be able to guess them.Dialogues are below average.The climax is stupid but then the past 2.2 hrs or so were no different so its ok.

A few days back CilemaSnob tweeted that they have transposed Salman’s face on the bodydouble. I saw the video but could not see the exact scene.
As for the movie I watched bits of the first scene and the last scene. The first scene has some good fights when in close up but in the long shots where Salman is jumping you can tell clearly tell its a body double. The body double is slim than Salman so you can easily make out during the jump scenes.
They did overdid the jumping in the first scene. I know some crazy SRK fan did as revenge but I was thinking this jumps look like that of a Bandar.
After that there was a scene of Salman taking milk and all the neighbors are talking abt him. It looked so silly and stupid.
In the final scene when Salman is clinging to the helicopter you can clearly tell they shot it against blue screen – it looked like that scene from old movies where hero is driving a car and the screen behind keeps changing.
I know people were praising Katrina’s acting but in that scene when Salman boards the helicopter her expression is so pathetic. She has no idea what expression to give. Couldn’t make out if she is happy or not.
Tried this screenshot.See how the face of salman is superimposed on stunt double’s body.The alignment is faulty.The colour texture also differs.Of course for clearer view,you need to see it on big screen.

You mean to say that neighbor’s wives and girlfriends check out the young guy next door? The scene was cheesy – put in the movie to hint that Salman is a hunk.
No Sputnik, haven’t seen it yet but My Conclusion was Based on what I saw of that Scene frm the Trailers.
