      1. What you think of Visahl.. Actually many time i felt certain genre or certain type of songs are better handled by Vishal. Though I am unable to compare rahman and Visahl.. Rahman has lot of versatility though.

        I like sneha khanwalkar too.. She is very experimental and courageous. Amit too is very good but I am not much liking him recently. Though everyone comes after Rahman Vishal, as in Anybody else’ songs gets forgotten in 6 month or less or at least love for them gets highly reduced.

        1. Vishal Shekhar are good sometimes. Rahman is obviously the most talented but I sometimes feel that even his mediocre songs are praised by people just because they are from Rahman. People usually give the excuse of “the songs grew up on me” which I think is BS because if you listen even to the most crappiest song over and over you will start to eventually like it.

          Sneha Khanwalkar started off brilliantly. I loved the music of Gangs of Wasseypur but I think her later albums have not been that great. Agree that “She is very experimental”.

        2. Ah you meant Vishal Bhardwaj. My bad.

          Vishal Bhardwaj is definitely very good as a music director and agree with you that “certain genre or certain type of songs are better handled by Vishal”. I think he is a very underrated music composer because everyone talks about him more as a director. The other good thing about Vishal’s music is that his songs have Gulzar as the lyricist.
