Interesting but predictable.
Hope Bhansali does not fall in the loop of having Hindi-mixed with marathi here. Dibankar didnt use a single bengali word in Byomkesh – and did a great job.
Once you start using bit of regional language – it feels artificial.
Agree that it is interesting but also predictable.
It has the usual huge sets, costumes, panoramic cinematography from SLB. The scene at 1 minute with the red hat and white costumes has the feel of a similar scene from Jodhaa Akbar. The shot at 2:38 with Ranveer jumping over the heads of others seems a bit OTT.
Ranveer looks very good as Peshwa Bajirao. Deepika looks very pretty and looks like she has a very good role and is not just eye candy. Priyanka seems to have the supporting role and she looks good too.
Superb teaser. Everyone looks in form including Bhansali. Ranveer looks fabulous as Bajirao Peshwa. And that last dialogue is haunting. I hope the movie sticks to one language. Adding Marathi will introduce inconsistency. Looking forward to it!
