Arjun Reddy (Vijay Deverakonda) is a Surgeon and the topper of the college. He falls in love with his junior, a Tulu girl (Shalini), who is four years younger to him. Due to some unfortunate incidents, they break up. How life takes them forward forms the rest of the story.
Excellent movie. Loved it except for the convoluted Happy Ending. Its such a raw, bold, passionate love story. It was so refreshing to see a Telugu movie like this. The dialogues were so natural, real life like with cuss words. Thankfully there were no songs with lip syncing.
Vijay Deverakonda was excellent as Arjun Reddy, the hot headed lover and surgeon. It is an award winning performance. Shalini Pandey looked cute and acted well. Rahul Ramakrishna was excellent as Arjun’s friend Shiva. Jia Sharma was good as the actress. Kamal Kamaraju was good as the elder brother Gautham. The rest of the cast was good too.
