Amul Mohan had tweeted an hour back that Jiah Khan had committed suicide.

Now NDTV and IBN are also reporting it as Breaking News – “Actress Jiah khan commits suicide at her Juhu residence in Mumbai. Reason of the suicide is still unknown.”

“The 25-year-old actor is learnt to have hung herself inside the house.
Jiah was brought up in England and had shifted to Mumbai with her mother Rabiya recently.
“She had been depressed for some time due to personal issues, but was keen on returning to acting soon. She was also meeting filmmakers regarding projects,” sources close to the actress said. ”

Her death looks like a case of depression which made her commit suicide… In my view, depression is the biggest disease in the world…

“The alleged suicide is reported to have occurred at night, at around 11 pm, and strangely no suicide note was found. A source revealed that actor Aditya Pancholi was one of the first to rush to Jiah’s house, upon hearing about the suicide.
Jiah Khan’s body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.
According to the actress’ mother, Jiah had recently travelled to Hyderabad for an audition. She did not do well in the audition and after coming back she told her mother that she did not feel that her career is moving forward. Reportedly, Jiah was quite disturbed since the failed audition. She did not meet any outsider after returning from Hyderabad.”

She wanted to leave films and do interior designing: Jiah Khan’s mother
According to Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia Amin, the actress wanted to leave the film industry and opt for another career. She also hinted that she wanted to do interior designing.
Amin further said that she was upset about an audition in Hyderabad on Sunday that did not do so well.
Reportedly, Amin told the police that Jiah had travelled to Hyderabad for an audition of a Telugu film.
She did not do well in the audition and after coming back, she told her mother that she did not feel that her Bollywood career is moving forward.
This was the first time that Jiah Khan’s mother spoke after Jiah committed suicide by hanging herself in her apartment on Monday night.
This could possibly be one of the reasons why Jiah committed suicide. Reports are coming in that her relationship with Suraj Pancholi could also be a reason for her depression.
The last call that she received was from Suraj Pancholi at 10.53pm before she committed suicide between 11 to 11.22 pm.
Pancholi and Jiah were dating each other for a year. They had broken up a month back.
