Aamir Khan, who is on an all-India tour to shoot the video of the title song of his first television chat show, Satyamev Jayate (yes, that’s what the show is called), cries at least three to five times daily these days. And just why are his tear ducts activated so often? It’s because he has been viewing the recorded versions of the heart-rending tales of people from different parts of the country as part of the shooting of the video. Just so that people don’t get conscious that they are in the august company of superstar Aamir Khan, it is his assistants who strike up conversations with people from different walks of life to know their problems, and Aamir views the conversations which get recorded. And, as the actor puts it, “Many of the stories are so emotional that I end up crying daily, sometimes four to five times a day! I also feel very depressed after that, but I am enjoying every moment of this exercise.” Ram Madhvani is directing the theme song. Aamir was in Jaisalmer earlier this week for this very purpose, from where he went to Jodhpur and Delhi en route to Sikkim.
