A Quiet Place Movie Review by Sputnik

In this terrifyingly suspenseful thriller, a family must navigate their lives in silence to avoid mysterious creatures that hunt by sound. Knowing that even the slightest whisper or footstep can bring death, Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and Lee (John Krasinski) Abbott are determined to find a way to protect their children at all costs while they desperately search for a way to fight back. Hailed by critics and audiences around the world, experience the must-see movie of the year.

Very interesting premise. Intense from first to the last scene. And a very sincere performance from the cast. The only flaw is it started directly into the post-apocalyptic world. Already a set of rules for the new universe without any background of the monster. So some things don’t come across as very logical.

Climax is disappointing and so are some of scenes near the end as they are illogical.

Regan should have found out about her hearing aid from the scene where the monster runs away breaking the silo. So the scene where she turns it off did not make any sense and there was no need for what happened afterwards. Also the flooded basement scene did not make any sense and afterwards nothing is showing as to how the flooding was stopped.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski were excellent. Millicen Simmonds was good but her role was somewhat annoying. Noah Jupe was excellent too.
