    Best Motion Picture – Drama
    12 Years A Slave

  24. cr7 10 years ago

Not any real surprise . Not any surprise . Liked gravity but don’t think it deserved best director award .Same for 12 years a slave .Good movie but getting the unfair advantage of being a movie based o slavery . Cate Blanchett deserved best actress . She was fantastic.Haven’t seen american American Hustle and Wolf of wall street but happy for Jennifer lawrence and Di caprio .Big fan of both of them . Will see Dallas buyers club,Her,The great beauty this week .Will comment on other awards after watching them .

Happy for breaking bad .No other show deserved the awards on best drama and best actor.Hope it gets Emmy too . haven’t seen any other show that won . Surprised to see TBBT and modern family didn’t get any awards in musical, comedy category .

McConaughey and Leto deserve every bit of adulation that’s coming their way. Dallas Buyers Club is driven by their impeccable performances even though the story and direction are pretty straightforward. Christian Bale not being nominated for Out of the Furnace is a crime. It’s his best performance along with American Psycho and The Fighter. Jennifer Lawrence’s performance in AH is pretty overrated. It’s good but nothing close to awesome. Amy Adams was better than her. Best Original Score snub for Steven Price for Gravity is shocking. The movie blurred the lines between music and sound design.

wtf is “best actor drama” and “best actor musical/comedy”? categories made to satisfy everyones ego.

Yeah. Even though they are considered the precursor to Oscars I don’t like this stupid multiple categories. Its just like Stardust Awards with Best Actor in Drama/Comedy/Romance and so on.
