More or less for this post and the previous one too – I think there are two major reasons
1) Increase in internet awareness in India in last 2-3 years. I mean take for example a movie like Khalnayak which was far more an event movie than any movie in last two decades. Still how many views it has? Same with the songs – I think DTPH / Paakeezah etc etc (or many such movie songs) had been far more famous and liked. The trailer of Krissh3 had more to do with sci-fi fans. And for D3 it was more to with bike / racing/ Dance fans etc. Same way the songs of Bhatt camp had more to do with synch sound which is in fashion these days which coincided with internet awareness in India in last 2 years. Apart from top 2 songs all were about sleaze and drugs – I dont think ppl actually liked it . Its more abt awareness abt social media.
2) Political parties started being aware of strength of social media in last two years or so.
In that process, many fans and things fell in place. With maybe political awareness in youth like never before (maybe only second to 1977).
“The trailer of Krissh3 had more to do with sci-fi fans”
then why didnt ra1 and robot get higher views?
“Who would play a Chamma Chamma / Fevicol se instead of a Maa from TZP”
then how come a completely unknown film and actors song like this have more than 20 mil views?
The reason is first point i mentioned. ra.one / robot came long before that.
The third reason I can think of is playing the songs on stage and dancing to it. There has been lot of growth and popularity of TV shows based on dance. Who would play a Chamma Chamma / Fevicol se instead of a Maa from TZP. When the former was as much liked as the later – or probably later was more liked.
No doubt Chamma Chamma was popular but it was because it can be performed on stage in Ganesh festivals/ dance shows etc.
@sputnik – I went to dashboard today and was totally confused how to post. I mean the whole thing is changed totally. Please can anyone guide me? Baba or You? – just in case.
You should be able to make a post the same way as before. From the link Posts on the left side you should see Add New and once you click on it you should see Add New Post screen. There should be a + New on the top too which does the same thing.
Once you are done updating the post let me know and I will make it visible.
For some strange reason I dont see that option. Can you pls double check if I have posting rights?
You still have the same postingpermissions with your old user id Ritz. You are commenting with your new user id Ritz_Ritz123 which does not have posting permissions.
Ah ok. That explains it. Thanks !!
Hey @ritz
I see that you have a post pending. Are you still editing it or are you done?
No dont post it. It was kind of rebuttal post and if I add something more to it then I will let you know. Thx
