the real President to appear in his movie. So who's playing President Barack Obama in the movie?

His official website states that he is playing Barack Obama in the movie My Name is Khan. He may have been chosen because he has done Barack Obama impersonations on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

We wished that they had used real Obama clips and superimposed Shah Rukh in the clips if needed but then that has already been done in Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks meeting the US President Nixon. The movie already bears similarities to Forrest Gump with the protagonist being autistic and setting out on a journey.
