Scenes that made you Cry

I am not a very emotional person usually. and most films fail to get that emotion from me.Mostly the supposed emotional scenes (especially in hindi films) usually make me laugh :D

. however there are moments in my movie watching experience where i have gotten overwhelmed with emotion. When i say scenes that make you “cry”, it doesnt mean literally ,it means scenes that have you emotional or lump in throat or a scene that moves you deeply. Also it is not necessary that only a death or a tragic scene can make one emotional. Let me tell you i get emotional even watching some fight scenes! :D

or say the training scene of rocky in rocky 3.because i get overwhelmed by the impact of the scene.
Here i present my top fav scenes that make me emotional each time i see them:

Brooks Was Here – The Shawshank Redemption
Mostly in films, they show a guy spends his time in jail and comes back and is back to normal life.Good enough in fairy tales. But here you get to see the real deal. there is a dialogue in the film “when they gave you life imprisonment, thats what they do,they take away your life without actually killing you.” this scene i am sure moves anyone that has seen it.

Movie Memories – Theaters Where You Saw lot of Movies

maheshwari

Maheshwari/Parameshwari was the the best theater in Hyderabad. Have memories of watching a majority of movies there. Saw Ajooba, Sanam Bewafa, Saajan, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Pyar Ka Tarana, Khuda Gawah, Suryavanshi, Khal Nayak, Darr, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Anjaam, Prem, 1942 A Love Story, Yeh Dillagi, Raja, Suraksha, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Rangeela, Deewar, Shakti, Zamana Deewana, Judwaa, Auzaar and Dil Se.

The early part of the song is shot at Maheshwari/Parameshwari theater complex. You can see that Saajan is playing. It is from a Ram Gopal Varma directed Telugu movie Money starring Chakravarthy, Renuka Shahane and Paresh Rawal. Its a good song too with some good music.

My Top 10 Movie Themes

Here is a list of my Top 10 Movie themes. These lists are subjective so please list your Top 10 Movie themes and whether you agree/disagree with these choices.

1. Main Title – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Music composed by Ennio Morricone

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly does not have that many spoken lines. The music is an integral component and adds to the mystery and the suspense especially in the action scenes. The music is like another character here and it takes the movie to another level and the music by Ennio Morricone has become synonymous with westerns.

“The score is composed by frequent Leone collaborator Ennio Morricone, whose distinctive original compositions, containing gunfire, whistling, and yodeling permeate the film. The main theme, resembling the howling of a coyote, is a two-note melody that is a frequent motif, and is used for the three main characters, with a different instrument used for each one: flute for Blondie (Man With No Name), arghilofono for Angel Eyes and human voices for Tuco.[1][2]” (From Wikipedia)
