      1. a bad photoshop. srk being manhandled by chennai henchmen ?whats the idea? 😀

srks pic is superimposed on a different pic of those men. the faces of the men is also repeated. its not somehting new.multiplication of images to build impression of crowd has been done before too in films like JOdhaa akbar etc but its never so noticeable. Quite a hasty and poor design.

  1. 8000+ views that too in night (india). 4.5 stars. Goes to show the response.
    First poster is good.
    As per expectation

  2. Fourth one from bottom is the most cringe-worthy.
Shetty remains in the same level, but SRK goes down to Devgn level.
100 cr is a given for Shetty film, but with srk in it, expectations will be higher.

    1. Kyun sharminda karte ho yaar, wese bhi Sir buhat sharif sa lagta he, call me Mate. 😉
It’s ok yaar, you don’t like a movie, I have no objection as it’s a personal choice.
Lekin yahan par ek gujarish karna chahta hu, Movie ne ap ko jitna Dagaa diya, us se kahi badh kar ap ne movie ka band bajaya. 😀

  4. PATHETIC POSTER.

In today’s time they should release Srk’s film ONLINE, atleast there he don’t have to buy the HIT rights for his films, nor distributors would loose anything.

By no of views it looks like Srk fans are the ones who were craving for Masala movies these days & all recent masala hits are due to srk fans. It has hit All Time High coz their idol is starring in one of the masala film now.

Rohit Shetty will fail this time. FLOP

    1. The views are more due to Deepika Padukone fans than SRK fans. Deepika Padukone fan club tweeted the link and the fan club has 60000+ followers 😀

  5. nice . loud and clear that it is gonna be a typical rohit shetty movie. and i enjoy them usually (exception bb & sunday) .my most awaited movie of this year . liked the third poster most . 😀 .but till now the best pics from ce are the one where srk and deepika sitting in the bench and the ddlj one.

  6. cr7,

I too Liked the 3rd Poster the Most and that Bench Pic btwn SRK-Dippy was also Good. :)

I Love the ‘Black-Tee+Jeans+Aviator’ Look Shah Rukh is Carrying in the Film espc. That Black Wristband is a Highlight.
And, He will Carry the Same Look for More then 80% of the Movie anyway, as it’s a Train Journey.

I Hope they Come Up with a Smashing, Big, SOLO Poster of Shah Rukh in that look so that I Can Keep it as a DP on My FB Profile During the Film’s Release.
    😛

    ….

    I Strongly Dislike Shetty’s ‘Sunday’ and Golmaal-3.

GR was Average and Haven’t Seen Zameen.

Rest, I Have Liked his Movies a lot.

  7. 11K+ views, not surprising, its srk movie poster, online to dhoom machayega hi.
On the posters, I found the thrid one decent, rests I dont like.

  8. Simply loved the posters very apt ! It has to be extremely horrible for it to fail, which is unlikely. If entertaining then can be an easy blockbuster for Srk – Rohit.

  9. liked 2nd and 5th (best) and 3rd is ghatia but overall intriguing. This is litmus test for shetty due to boring actor but padu is little respite for him.

  10. the poster says it all a Rohit Shetty film….
Will do superhit business bcoz of Rohit shetty Brand….
Except Bol Bachchan i liked all Rohit Shetty movies..!!

  11. Get ready for Eid, he says to the Chennai Express team at a meeting of stakeholders in Wai. Is Sallu listening?

It’s official now. Shah Rukh Khan has staked his claim to the most coveted release date of the film calendar, which has been monopolised by Salman Khan so far. Chennai Express will be flagged off on the day of Eid, on August 8. This is the first time in years that SRK will release his film on the auspicious day that has seen Sallu storm the box office with Wanted, Bodyguard, Dabangg and Ek Tha Tiger.

With SRK traditionally dominating the Diwali slot, it was an unwritten code between the two stars that one will not eye the other’s favourite time of the year. But trust SRK to throw caution to the wind.

The date for Chennai Express was finalised at a meeting held in Wai yesterday. TOI has learnt that Shah Rukh, who has been camping there for weeks now, called the various stakeholders to the set.

Among them were distributors, members of the production house, Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan, who has choreographed a song for the film, and music directors Vishal-Shekhar.

“Interesting thing about the conclave was, one did not know about the others who had been summoned,” said a source. SRK, who was in a jubilant mood, broke the news to all present. “Get ready for Eid!” he reportedly said, to whoops of delight.

That Chennai Express would eventually release on Eid, had become increasingly apparent over the past few weeks. Salman’s Sher Khan, announced as an Eid release, was shelved. His Mental is unlikely to get ready by that time. Bhansali wisely moved Ram Leela away from the collision course, to avoid a repeat of the OSO Saawariya story. That kept the slot open for Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai -2. Now that’s hardly competition.

It remains to be seen if Salman’s luck rubs off on his arch rival.

  12. Shah Rukh Khan not happy with music of Chennai Express

Aamir may not be the only Khan who gets involved with every aspect of his films. If reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan is going the same way. The actor is keeping a tab on every stage of his upcoming project, Chennai Express.

It seems that the initial music score developed by
composer-duo Vishal-Shekhar didn’t impress the actor much. A source close to the film says that SRK then asked director Rohit Shetty to make the necessary changes.

“The composers made Shah Rukh listen to their rough compositions, but the actor didn’t seem satisfied and said so to Rohit,” says the source, adding, “Rohit then sat with Vishal and Shekhar and explained to them what SRK was looking for. Now, a thorough rework is underway.”

Sources say that Shah Rukh has been particular about the music of his films lately, because he understands that the soundtrack is important to the film. “Shah Rukh doesn’t want to compromise on the music, so he was clear about what he wanted,” adds the source. When contacted, Vishal chose not to comment on this development.

The makers are currently wrapping up the shoot of the romantic comedy, which stars Deepika Padukone as well. They reportedly have a long shoot scheduled in Munnar and a few other small towns in Kerala.

  14. 2nd and 3rd poster are on front page of delti times(TOI magazine)
