Liked Argo but would have preferred Zero Dark Thirty to win Best Picture and Best Director and even Screenplay.

Well deserved wins for Daniel Day-Lewis and Jessica Chastain. Liked Christoph Waltz in Django Unchained too so good for him. Have to see The Master though. Knew Amour will win Foreign Language Film.

I liked Zero Dark Thirty but wasn’t as good as I expected. Had some flaws like Showing Indian vehicles and Indian Roads to be as Pakistani. People will even be able to identify the markets.

Also, the opening scene was real childish and trying to be great. First 30 minutes were really sluggish and boring. But After that it was really well done..Really liked the pace for the last one hour.

Really liked Jessica Chastain’s performance and it was brilliant in a couple of scenes, but still I didn’t find it award winning.

hmm may be missed that Indian vehicles and Indian roads but they usually shoot in some other country for movies like this anyways. Even Hurt Locker was shot in Jordan. May be it worked for me because I don’t know those markets 😉

Actually I was disappointed a bit with the last 30 minutes the main raid. I mean if they were shooting and blasting all around how come nobody woke up?

I liked Jessica Chastain because she played a character who is totally dedicated and single minded in her mission. It does not have that many usual “acting” moments but I liked that it was kept subtle. I mean they could have added some big emotional breakdown scene at her colleague’s death but they did not.

The main Drawback of Zero Dark Thirty is that its based on Real life story which does not match with the Version(Actual story) of CIA…
So it will not be easy for this movie to win lots of Top awards..!!

LOl on some comments above on zero dark thirty, i belong to abbottabad, pakistan and after watching the mov i must say very poor home work from director kath bigelow, abbottabad is a pak hill station and its a very beautiful greeny place and they showed a very dry place in the movie and also seeing ladies in sarees in abbottabad i laughed a lot. there r so many flaws in the mov it didnt deserve any awards actually i m surprised that it nominated for that much.
